Teen Girl Costumers

Why are all the teen girl costumes sexy? When I was a kid, I thought it was cool to cut up a black lawn sized bag and wear it over a bright colored sweater and cool leggings (with leg warmers of-course) and call myself a punk rocker. Today… not so cool. If I wanted to be Wonder Woman, there is no way I would have put on the exact outfit that Lynda Carter (or Gal Gadot) wore!!

Now that I have teenage girls (11 13 and 14 16) and I see the costumes that are for sale in their sizes (which are adult sizes) it is shocking. I don’t see how it is appropriate for my girls to run around in outfits that show almost every inch of their skin, offering up cleavage that shouldn’t be shown, and give the impression that they are older than they are (which is already enough of a problem these days).

I have been scouring the internet for some decent costumes that provide some coverage!
