After a long day of playing volleyball, six to ten games in one day, those shoes… those kneepads – the smell is horrific. The family piles into the car for the long drive home, and all we can smell are those shoes and kneepads. The volleyball player is asleep because she played hard all day, but the rest of us can hardly breathe! It sure does make the drive home painful. I can’t say how many times we wanted to hang those stinky volleyball shoes out of the car on the way home.
Stinky Shoes
We have tried so many ways to get rid of the smell. I wash the kneepads regularly, which helps some, but the smell comes back with every sweaty game day. We have put talcum powder in the shoes, but that just masks the smell and makes a mess for the socks. I even bought the sneaker odor eaters and those helped some but quickly ran out of effectiveness.
And then I found the BEST. PRODUCT. EVER. Sportzyme from Norwex! This product actually works!! It is incredible 
how it takes the sweaty smell out of shoes and knee pads and by using natural enzymes! I am not a Norwex consultant. I did not receive any kind of payment to write this blog post. And, in-fact, I purchased the Sportzyme at full price! And I just love it so much, I need to share!
No More Smell!
To be perfectly honest, I am a HUGE fan of Norwex products. There is nothing more amazing that being able to get your house clean without the use of nasty chemicals. And, I don’t know what I would do without the Envirocloth and Window Cloth from Norwex. So, trying the Sportzyme on the volleyball shoes was not a stretch for me! And, as I expected, it worked just as well as all the other Norwex products I have tried – Fabulously! All we do is spray the Sportzyme in the shoes after that long game day and let it dry. The smell is GONE!
Volleyball players are not the only athletes that have stinky, sweaty shoes and equipment! Sportzyme will work for any sport and any athlete! As a matter of fact, it will work for anyone that has stinky shoes!! You have to TRY it!
